A Note From Tara, Owner of Hope Realty Property Management

Hi — I’m Tara Ulysse, the owner of Hope Realty Property Management.

I know what it takes to build a property management business the right way: owner trust, consistency, and years of showing up. If you’re considering selling your portfolio or company, my priority is simple:

Your owners and tenants should feel cared for, not “handed off.”
And you should feel confident that your legacy is being respected.

When we acquire a portfolio, we do it with a long-term mindset — focused on stability, communication, and a smooth transition.

Why Local Property Managers Choose Hope Realty

We’re Growing — But We’re Growing Intentionally

We only acquire portfolios in markets we actively manage:
Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico, Hanover, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, and surrounding Central Virginia communities.

We are building depth — not chasing volume.Your book of business remains local.

No Brokers. No Listings. No Public Exposure.

Selling a property management company in Virginia is sensitive — and we treat it that way. We handle every conversation directly and confidentially. There are:
* No listing agreements
* No broker commissions
* No public marketing of your business

Just a private discussion between operators — and handled by ownership.

We Protect Your Reputation

You’ve built trust with your owners and tenants. That trust matters. Our transition process focuses on:
* Clear communication with owners
* Structured onboarding for tenants
* Seamless lease continuity
* Professional file transfer
* Vendor coordination

We aim for a smooth handoff that reinforces your credibility — not disrupts it. Our goal is that your clients feel secure, not “sold.”

We Respect the Legacy You Built

Many Richmond Property Management companies were built through years of referrals and hard-earned relationships. We take that seriously. In many cases, we:
* Retain key staff members when appropriate
* Preserve vendor relationships
* Seamless lease continuity
* Maintain service standards owners expect
* Ensure continuity in communication

This is not about stripping assets. It’s about stewardship.
